I think now is an appropriate time for my annual 'I HATE THE GRAND PRIX' rant. The original (and probably the best) anti-Grand Prix rant is here. I used to be so much a better ranter once.
Anyway we have planes flying overhead today. Yeah, that's entertainment. Cars driving around in circles. That's entertainment too. I don't get it. I just don't get it. It saddens me that people have such pathetic lives that a stupid car race excites them.
Luckily I have Friday off work so I will miss most of the moronic race goers who fill my tram and take all the seats. I will miss the worst of the noise too. But not the planes. I hate the planes more than anything.
