It's been a week since I quit smoking. Go me! I am strong. I can do anything.
Ok, so maybe I slipped a few times, had a suck on someone's fag or even a couple of sly ones myself, but I think I should commend me for being able to slip up but to get over it and keep on going. I have a problem with my 'all or nothing' attitude. Whether it's dieting, exercising or whatever I will go in hard and then, inevitably, can't keep up the pace so quit completely. That isn't good.
Learning to fail gracefully and keep on going is more important than learning to succeed. That is my thought for the day.
