Yesterday I got a call around 9.00 am from my temp agency. I had to go fill in as receptionist at one of their offices. Guess they picked me for my wealth of reception experience.
I got to the office, it was a quiet little office in the suburbs. They showed me how to work the phones and said they really had nothing else for me to do so if the phones were quiet I could read the paper or surf the net.
I don't think I've had carte blanche, guilt-free web surfing time at work before. Woohoo. Cushiest job ever.
