My best friends are in Europe at the moment. They keep sending me emails about their wacky adventures. It is strange - if you miss a bus or get on the wrong train in Melbourne then it is just an annoyance but do it in Venice or Rome and it is an hilarious romp. Sure there are things like the language barrier, but then again I've got on trams in Melbourne where no one speaks English either.
