Hello Kathryn. 'Unacceptable' annoys me. It's used for everything. I heard a police spokeman describe a murder as unacceptable on TV last night. I'd have thought murder was more than just unacceptable. I'd have thought it was outrageous. Dreadful, even. Still, if you don't conform you're not in the club. You must conform to be acceptable.
